Rongpo

Rongpo, small town is one of the main & busiest entrance to State Sikkim. (Other entrance are in Melli, Nayabazar & Reshi). A small check post is located just before Rongpo town, where tourist & transport vehicles are required to stop for police inspection before they can enter the State. Rongpo town is also a good place for passengers, where they can take a quick halt from long exhausting drive, fill empty stomach and be rinsed in clean fast food outlets at Rongpo.
