The Rimpochi belongs to Ningmapa sect and is considered one of the 5 Great Rimpochis in Tibet, and belongs to the royal family of Bhutan . His father too was a great Rimpochi, One who is the teacher of Karmapa.

Came to know from a fren from kalimpong(algara-pedong side ko) who also celebrates same Loosong that it started from Y2dy...
I had infact called him to my place..but he insisted saying it is forbidden to travel away from home in Losoong..So i teased saying him that Kpg ko bhutias duplicate ho bhanera..n moreover he was told that thing by his mom who is Gurung ..n Sikkim ko bhutias must know better rather than my fren :) ..so ...I just want to know ..is it true or did he lie me coolly ..gege...
